At the general meeting 21.05.2026, Folketrygdfondet voted against the following items for the following reasons:
Item I.9.a: Elect Patrick De Brabandere to the Supervisory Board
Folketrygdfondet voted against this proposal as a matter of principle. We believe that the duties and responsibilities of Supervisory Board members should be exercised by individuals in their personal capacity, with clear individual accountability to shareholders. Appointments where directors serve primarily as representatives of corporate entities may weaken this principle and reduce transparency around personal responsibility and independent judgment.
Item I.9.b: Elect Bjarte Bøe to the Supervisory Board
Folketrygdfondet voted against this proposal as a matter of principle. We believe that board service is a personal responsibility that must be carried out by individuals acting independently and with clear accountability to shareholders. Where directors are appointed as representatives of corporate entities, this may obscure individual responsibility and weaken confidence in the board’s independent oversight role.
